Car-to-Car Communication A simple wireless technology promises to make driving much safer

Hi guys, technology is really changing the world we live in. Car-to-Car Communication  A simple wireless technology which promises to make driving much safer.

Hariharan Krishnan hardly looks like a street racer. With thin-rimmed glasses and a neat mustache, he reminds me of a math teacher. And yet on a sunny day last September, he was speeding, seemingly recklessly, around the parking lot at General Motors’ research center in Warren, Michigan, in a Cadillac DTS.

This is Amazing!!! Devices Connect with Borrowed TV Signals and Need No Power Source

A novel type of wireless device sends and receives data without a battery or other conventional power source. Instead, the devices harvest the energy they need from the radio waves that are all around us from TV, radio, and Wi-Fi broadcasts.
These seemingly impossible devices could lead to a slew of new uses of computing, from better contactless payments to the spread of small, cheap sensors just about everywhere.

Old Battery Type Gets an Energy Boost

Hi guys, welcome to another trending tech gist happening  around the world. The chemical company BASF says the basic type of battery used now in hybrids could be improved tenfold, leading to cheaper electric cars.

Almost every automaker interested in producing electric cars is betting on improvements to lithium-ion batteries to make the cars cheaper and extend their driving range.
But scientists at BASF are exploring the possibilities of an older type of battery, nickel-metal hydride, now used in hybrids. They recently doubled the amount of energy that these batteries can store, making them comparable to lithium-ion batteries. And they have a plan to improve them far more, potentially increasing energy storage by an additional eight times.

A Year Later, $19 Billion For WhatsApp Doesn’t Sound So Crazy

Messaging is the center of mobile. Snapchat is raising at around a $20 billion valuation. And no one cares who owns apps. On February 19th, 2014, we didn’t know any of these things for sure. So when Facebook announced it would pay $19 billion to acquire WhatsApp — an app most American pundits had never used — it seemed ludicrous. Zuck had to be crazy, right?

The Storm Affordable Electric Bike

It’s been a while since I got to do a fun demo on some kind of electric vehicle, so last week we took a trip to Golden Gate Park with the Storm eBike.
It’s a electric bicycle designed to be cheap and practical. It’s the 1987 Honda Civic of electric bikes, stripped down to the basics. There’s no regenerative braking, or a fancy housing to disguise the massive batteries needed to give bikes any kind of range for commuting.
While the frame isn’t anything special, the tires that come with the bike certainly draw the eye. They’re big round tubes that probably aren’t doing the motor any favors but provide a stable, smooth ride on different surfaces. Going over pavement with cracks, paths with crunchy branch bits, and dirt the bike maintained a solid grip and could instantly get going with a push of the accelerator.

I didn’t get a chance to test the Storm eBike for the entirety of its battery life, but I did get to drive on a few different grades of hill to see how it performed. If your commute is mostly flat (or if you just want to take it to the beach sometimes), it offers a fun ride with assistance that’s also not too hard to pedal.

Microsoft Officially Launches Azure Machine Learning Platform

You know all that big data that’s streaming into your company from sensors, customers, social media, Excel spreadsheets, and data sources all over the internet? Microsoft wants to help you process all of it, build APIs and make use of that data in the cloud with machine learning technology.
And to that end, Microsoft officially announced at the Strata Conference today, the general availability of the Azure Machine Learning service for big data processing in the cloud. It also announced some enhancements to the platform since its Beta release in June.

New Yahoo Mobile Development Suite Seduces App Makers With Analytics, Search, Ads

Today at Yahoo’s first mobile developer conference, the tech giant unveiled its new Yahoo Mobile Development Suite that combines Yahoo App Publishing for monetization, Search In Apps, and App Marketing with its Flurry Analytics acquisition made last year. This is Yahoo’s “ads in dev’s clothing” strategy to convince app makers to buy and host its ads.

How to Change IMEI For MTK devices to Get 10GB

Disclaimer: These involve some level of techniques and adherence to instructions and it is at your own risk. Also note that modification of IMEI is illegal in some countries hence ensure you are not violating your country’s laws.
Hi pals, this is not a new tweak, some people are already flexing with it while some smart guys like me are making reasonable amount of money from it in their locality for long. Today, I want to show you a very simple method to change your Tecno Android Device IMEI and other MTK devices without a PC, so as for you to enjoy the Mtn Bonus Mb
A Techno Android phone can serve more than 1000 Mtn SIMs with free 2GB or more on the each mtn SIMs. So, don't panic if you don't have Tecno phone, you may borrow your friend tecno or give your Mtn sim to your friend to get it done for you on his/her phone.

I don't need to talk too much, I'm sure most of us here understand that this tweak was tapped from mtn offer for some phone like Techno Phantom Z, Techno R7, F7, Nokia X2, XL etc.
The trick here is, we are going to make them think we’re using those aforementioned phones by changing our Android device IMEI Number to the Phantom Z or new Infinix Zero IMEI which is usually 15 digits.

Things needed To Generate IMEI For Mtn 2GB
1.      An Media Tek Chip enabled phone (includes Techno, infinix, Huawei, Zte)
2.      Preferably dual sim enabled phone
3.      Back up your existing IMEI number using mobile uncle or simply copy out your IMEI
4.      The next thing we need here is the first 8 digits of the Phantom Z IMEI which is 35370906
5.      Remaining 7 digits can be generated off the head, just put any number you like there to make it 15 digits.

How to tweak your Techno Android Phone IMEI
Below is the simplest tutorial to tweak your Techno phone IMEI without a PC to be entitled to this 2GB, the most interesting part, you don't need to root your phone before this method can work for you and you also not need to generate any IMEI with any link.

1.      Insert an Mtn SIM to receive free GB on SIM 2 (if you want to change
sim2′s imei number) of that Techno phone.
2.       Download & install MTK Engineering Mode from play store.
3.      Open it & click on MTK Settings
4.      Then wipe your screen to left site to see Connectivity options.
5.      Scroll down to CDS Information and tap on it.

6.      Then, look for Radio Information, tap on it and you'll see something like:
Phone1 -
Phone2 -
.

7.      Select Phone2-
8.      You will see AT+
9.      Type any letter E in the search box after AT+ some dropped options is displayed
10. Then choose Phone2 which display something like this: AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEI"
11. Put cursor in the middle of "" and insert your 15digit IMEI, for Mtn Mb, it should look like:
AT+EGMR=1,7,"353709060433432"
12. After that, select SEND AT COMMAND
13. You will see a message "AT Command Msent"
14. Minimize to home screen and turn on your air flight mode for 60sec or Switched off your phone
15.  After 60sec turn off your Air flight mode and SEND Nokia to 131
16. Once it sent you receive a message you have been credited with the Bonus Mb
17.  The more you do the Above procedure the more you see your Mb turning from MB to GB

You will receive a message that your line has been credited with 100MB
You can check your MB balance with *559*2# or *559#

Repeat the steps for any Mtn sim you wished to credit with 1the bonus MB, also make sure you form another numbers for the last 7digit of the IMEI.

If the line was not credited, which means the IMEI you used has already been taken, what you
need to do is to re-follow the procedure with another IMEI.
If you encounter any error kindly leave your comment  all comment will be attended to.
